Cultic:The name possibly relates to a cult of Achilles. The stone bearing the inscription is doted with a relief cultic scene.
Heroic:The name relates to that of the Thessalian hero Achilles. It has been argued that Achilles and Thetis are illustrated on the stone bearing the inscription.
