i.c. Physical format(s) The decree is written on two plaques (A and B). Plaque A is decorated with a cymation at the top; plaque B is broken in five pieces, the upper of which is very mutilated.
ii. Source(s) provenance Found in Mantinea, near the so-called οἶκος πλακόστρωτος, oikos plakostrotos, and later transported in the museum of Tegea.

i. Private associations Certain
Note The plural synodoi does not allow us to conclude, which associations are meant. In Mantinea there are, however, several religious associations active in the 1st c. BC/1st c. AD. It is thus logic to assume that under synodoi private associations of this kind are to be understood.
